Ana Fritsch raises her two daughters Edith (5) and Lilah (3) in Park Slope, a beautiful neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY.
"We love Park Slope for its great schools, tree-lined streets, and quintessential brownstone stoops that we sit on all summer long doing sidewalk chalk and chasing down Mr. Softee ice cream trucks," Ana describes.
What are your favorite spots in the neighborhood?
"Our new favorite spot in the neighborhood is Nail Project. This new nail salon is so cute inside and the staff is just the best with the girls. It also happens to be right next door to our favorite pizza place, Da Nonna Rosa. Most Fridays after school, the girls and I go in for mani/pedis and then meet my husband for pizza after he gets off work.
The dried flower wall and pink velvet pedicure chairs are so dreamy. I'm a total "girl's girl" so having two daughters who enjoy doing "girly" stuff like this is so fun. I feel like it's one of those things they might remember one day when they're 16 and having a bad day. They might just want that comfort they felt when they were little and they might ask me, 'hey Mom, can we go get our nails done and then eat pizza?' That would totally melt my heart."
How do you like your Kira Kids pieces?
"We love Kira Kids! My girls have always had at least one piece from each season for as long as I can remember. We love the fun doodle style prints and how soft they are. It's so easy to dress up the pieces with a cool leather jacket but also be totally comfortable going to go play and get dirty in Prospect Park."
